Kelli Keenan is currently the Head of Business Credit Office, US Corporate and Institutional Banking based in New York City. Previously Kelli was the Head of Sustainable Finance and Transition for US Corporate and Institutional Banking and prior to that for Commercial Banking at HSBC. Kelli worked with HSBC’s corporate clients to develop and deliver sustainable finance solutions to achieve their net zero ambitions and sustainability goals.

Kelli joined HSBC in 2013 as Senior Legal Counsel in its US Legal department supporting the Commercial Bank. While in the Legal department, Kelli spent 5 months in Dubai working on commercial lending and trade finance matters. Prior to her current role, Kelli transitioned from Legal to the Commercial Bank as Head of Lending Product. In this role, Kelli led the development and management of the Commercial Bank’s lending products, including its sustainable finance product suite. Prior to moving to HSBC, Kelli was a practicing finance attorney at NYC based law firms.

Kelli has been named an HSBC Culture Hero for leading the way in living HSBC’s values and demonstrating behavior that helps HSBC be at its best. Kelli was also an Executive Leader under HSBC’s US Commercial Banking Advancing Female Inclusion program.

Kelli is a native of the New York area and graduated from Villanova University School of Law, JD, magna cum laude, and Villanova University, BA, magna cum laude.
